A red Ford Escape sport utility vehicle crashed through barriers and entered the Waukesha, Wisconsin, annual Christmas parade on November 21, 2021, at approximately 4:39 p.m. local time. Six people lost their lives in this, and over 68 others were hurt. After seizing the car, Waukesha police officers made an arrest. To stop the SUV, at least one officer pulled out a gun. The driver of the SUV, Darrell Brooks, was found guilty of all 76 charges against him on October 26, 2022. He received six life sentences without the possibility of release.
